The man with the bold voice together with the man known as ‘Big Fish’ Sipho Makhabane have worked together on Sechaba’s new album!
He is an icon of hope and faith, motivational to both young and old people nationwide. His music changed lives and gave hope to the hopeless.
“It is only through God’s grace that my life turned out this way”, said Sechaba.
In 2005 he recorded and released his debut album, titled Sechaba which went multi platinum.
The track Thapelo was the song that captured everyone’s heart. Sechaba’s bold, raw and pure talent was what the nation was waiting for.
In 2008 he released an album titled Modimo Oteng (God exists) this album was confirmation that no matter who you are and where you are from,
God will choose and use you and prosperity will follow you wherever you go. “Lapho ukhona”, “Lona baratang” and “Lebuwa jwang”, from Sechaba’s second album became big as he sung them with his unique voice. Gospel fans are in for a treat and feast of blessings as the two giants of gospel music will collaborate for one of his new songs.
Sechaba has teamed up with the man known as the ‘Big Fish’ Sipho Makhabane and have come up with an album that is explosive and will blow music fans with blasts of blessings.
Let the gospel begin, it is the rebirth of gospel and the reason why hymns are sung. Men of God are working together to make music that will heal, motivate and lift souls.
Hands will surely be rising up commanding angels to come done, and evil will shake and disappear. The power of prayer is witnessed in one of the songs in the album.
In the song Jeso Ke Mmoloki waka, one the can feel the pride and belief that one has in God, with no doubt in the heart and mind.
When you walk with the Lord no evil will harm you under any circumstances, the song “Hake tsamaya le Wena”, speaks about thanking and trusting the Lord and features Sipho Makhabane who is also his producer in this soul shaking album. Sechaba pays tribute to the gospel singer he loved as a young man,
the song “Oh Mohau” is Sechaba’s tribute to Sammy Malete. “Madi a konyana” leaves you with tears on your face and admiration to how the song is delivered.
Talking about this album is not enough, as one needs to hear it to feel it! This is what gospel is meant to be.
The DVD will be shot at Victory Theatre in Orange Grove at 13h00 on the 20th February 2010, and we will be giving away 25 tickets.
